Armed police and a helicopter were involved in a chase on the A23 today after a robbery.
Raiders threatened staff with a gun and grabbed thousands of pounds at a sub-post office in Sam's newsagents, Beatty Avenue, Coldean, shortly before noon. No shots were fired and no one was injured.
Police were pursuing what is thought to have been the robbers' get-away car. Two men in their 20s fled in a blue Vauxhall Astra.
