I have lived in Coldean for 37 years and have never known it to be surrounded by travellers. Now we have travellers up on the high fields for months, in the car park on Coldean Lane, by the bridge and in Stanmer Park.
What makes me annoyed is that their dogs roam Coldean estate, mess in our gardens and rip open our rubbish bags, then drag them across the road, leaving rubbish everywhere.
I have now moved my bags down into the garden, only to find it has happened again during the day. I hope these areas are not becoming permanent camping grounds for travellers.
