Horsham YMCA booked a semi-final date with Bognor amid controversial scenes at Middle Road last night.
Hosts Shoreham were incensed by two penalty awards and argued a Phil Churchill strike should have been ruled out.
Boss Roger Brace said: "I am distraught. Their first penalty was clearly outside the box and the second was a dive."
James Bird's opening spot kick, given for a foul on Warren Tilley, was cancelled out just before the break when Ben Boiling tapped in after a Mark Pulling cross.
Confusion reigned after Churchill's 51st minute strike when the ball ended up behind the goal.
The officials ruled it had gone through the net but Brace said: "The referee initially gave a goal kick."
He added: "I'm proud of how our fellas battled."
Churchill, who also converted a 59th minute spot kick, faces a shoot out with former strike partner Matt Russell when YM meet Bognor at Lancing next Wednesday.
YM boss John Suter felt both penalties were justified and added: "The referee had no doubts about our second goal. The ball went through the back of the net."
Shoreham had Pulling sent-off late on.
