Pat Bain was in exceptional form when skipping her son Steve to a runaway 30-14 win at Preston.
This win was over Gary and Linda Gray (Adur) in the area final of the generation pairs.
The Eastbourne pair carved out a 17-shot lead and although the Grays' got six shots over two ends to make it 26-10 at 12 it was 29-11 three ends later and the game ended after 18 ends.
The Bains' go to Charnwood (Loughborough) on April 7-8 for the last 16 stage. Pictured are Gary and Linda Gray and Pat and Steve Bain.
