Sussex Police are seeking new recruits - but they must have four legs, a tail and a sharp sense of smell.
The force already has 55 police dogs but needs more and is looking for German shepherds and Rottweillers in particular.
The dogs need to be 11 to 18 months old, energetic and have an even temperament.
Successful applicants will work with officers on searches and arms incidents.
To find out more call Pete Simms, the dog unit co-ordinator, on 01273 404495.
