Hove-based chart-topper Fatboy Slim and Sussex band Toploader have been nominated for Brit Awards.
DJ Fatboy, real name Norman Cook, is up for an award in the Best British Male Solo Artist and Best British Dance Act categories.
He faces stiff competition from Robbie Williams, Craig David and Artful Dodger among others.
Eastbourne's Toploader have been nominated in the Best British Group and Best British Newcomer section.
The awards will be presented by Ant and Dec on February 26 at Earls Court in London.
