Horsham YMCA are back on top of the Rich City County League but only after coming from 3-1 down to see off rock bottom East Preston in a Gorings Mead thriller.

Two goals from Lee Mansell and a Mathew Huckett penalty had YM in desperate trouble at half-time.

Phil Churchill levelled straight after the re-start with his second of the game and Nick Flint and Lee Butcher gave YM the win they needed to leapfrog Pagham.

Boss John Suter admitted: "I expected it to be difficult but I didn't expect it to be that bad. EP played much better than a team at the bottom of the league."

Flint set up Churchill's second, then levelled on 75 minutes after a Damien Francis shot been pushed out. Butcher's 80th minute clincher came from Matt Duffield's pull back.

Title hopefuls Wick needed a late Rob Grim strike to claim a 2-2 draw at Lancing, who had lost their previous nine games.

Lancing boss Andy Gander admited: "Wick had the greater possession and chances. I'm more than happy with a point."

Glen Soutter fired Lancing in front after a raking pass from John Minter, but Richie Phillips replied just before the break.

Lancing survived a spell of pressure before Danny Griffin sidestepped a tackle and put them back ahead on 76 minutes. Grim levelled when a free-kick was not properly cleared.

New Whitehawk boss Colin Jenkinson made it two wins from two as Saltdean were seen off 3-1 in an East Brighton Park derby.

Wes Cain's 42nd minute opener was wiped out by Andy Johnson's disputed 60th minute penalty.

Cain set up Mark Sheriff to restore Hawks' lead on 70 minutes and Dave Dickson added a superb clincher ten minutes from time.
