Brighton's latest international clash is being turned into a family day out at Waterhall.

England Under-16s are set to meet Italy Under-17s on Saturday, April 14.

Sussex youth development officer Gary Henderson has started negotiations with the armed forces careers office to lay on a number of sideline attractions.

Henderson said: "Already we have agreed, subject to approval, a Gazelle helicopter flypast, a parachute display, a laser warrior dome, a Royal Navy climbing display, a Helicopter flight simulator and a number of vehicles for display and ride purposes.

"The day should be a spectacular event encompassing an array of attractions to support the game."

Tickets for the game will cost £5 for adults and £2 for under-18s, senior citizens and students.

Family tickets, for two adults and two children, will be available, priced £12.50.

Clubs and schools will be offered the chance to buy ten tickets for £20 with an accompanying adult getting in for free.

The county are keen to build on the success of last season's Under-19s clash between England and France, which attracted 1,700 fans to Waterhall on a wet and chilly Saturday lunchtime.
