Roger French has had several letters published recently where he attempts to defend Brighton and Hove Bus Company's poor service.

He blames too much traffic on the roads. Surely when devising timetables the amount of other traffic on the road is taken into consideration? Perhaps the buses would be able to keep more to their schedules if certain roads had not been narrowed, thus impeding the flow of traffic?

Yes, criticism should also be aimed at other drivers causing obstructions but Mr French saying "sorry but it's not our fault" won't solve anything either. He is in a much better position to do something about it than us long-suffering passengers. Believe me, Mr French, you get nowhere near as frustrated as us!
