Roger French (December 1) dodges the issue of traffic and bus congestion in Palmeira Square when he wishes there could be a bus station at Churchill Square.
The reality is there are far too many buses terminated at Palmeira Square when they should be going on into central Hove and beyond.
The No 50 bus, which changes as if by magic to a No 10 at Palmeira Square, used to terminate centrally at Hove Station, causing no obstruction and where traffic flows quite freely. Now with other buses it terminates at Palmeira Square.
