Internet firms are planning big wage increases to persuade their staff to stick around.
According to a report by Hay Management Consultants, employees in e-businesses are to get pay rises of more than twice the national average next year.
The average internet worker will get a rise of 9.7 per cent, as opposed to an average of 3.6 per cent for other sectors.
Managers and chief executives will be even better off with rises in excess of 13 per cent.
