Young Sussex accountants Tim Harris and Karl Carraher of Crawley-based Tyas & Company scooped the team prize in the final of the Metropolitan Factors golf competition.
They were the first winners of the Metropolitan Team Trophy.
Tim and Karl, who plays off a handicap of seven and once considered a career as a professional golfer, pipped their nearest rivals, John Guest and Gary Epstein from Hacker Young in Hove, by one point with a score of 43.
The competition was sponsored by Sussex-based business cash-flow specialist Metropolitan Factors.
