Albion could beam high profile away matches back to Brighton.

They are investigating big screen or closed circuit TV coverage of games where demand for tickets outstrips supply.

Withdean, Brighton Racecourse and the Brighton Centre are among venues under consideration.

Saturday's FA Cup showdown at Aldershot has highlighted the problem of coping with promotion-chasing Albion's large travelling support.

They were allocated 2,000 tickets, which sold out within hours to the club's 4,000 plus season ticket holders.

Chief executive Martin Perry revealed: "We are looking at key away matches. The options are closed circuit TV or big screen and they are being explored.

"We are looking at other ways of reaching additional supporters and nothing has been ruled out.

"There are a number of options in Brighton as a venue, but it would depend on the level of interest. We have to consider things like safety."

Albion are already poised to announce a membership scheme for away fans, based on a points system relating to the number of matches attended.

Meanwhile, Adams has played down the absence of Rod Thomas from the trip to Macclesfield last Saturday.

Thomas, 30, had been a non-playing substitute for the previous 12 matches, but teenager Scott Ramsay was selected ahead of him.

"He (Thomas) has been on the transfer list since the end of last season and I've not had one enquiry for him," said Adams. "I have the right to decide who is and who isn't on the bench."

Thomas is expected to feature in Dean White's first League match in charge of the Reserves against Colchester at Worthing tonight (7pm).

White has suffered a frustrating succession of Combination opponents since his appointment at the start of last month.

Albion drew 2-2 with Brentford in the second round of the FA Youth Cup at Bognor last night.

Goals came from Dan Beck and Chris McPhee.

The replay is expected to be next Tuesday.

Albion chairman Dick Knight is on the panel as Worthing FC host Radio Five's Any Sporting Questions tomorrow (7.15pm). He will joined by Sussex coach Peter Moores and Crystal Palace boss Alan Smith. For tickets call 08700 100 500.
