I am asking readers to support the campaign to bring back hot school meals to West Sussex schools.
I am a governor of a school where 30 per cent of children are entitled to free school meals.
In counties all over England, regardless of political persuasion, children have the choice of a menu of hot school dinners because it is the priority of those county councils to provide this necessary service.
Adur councillors have been given some very strange reasons why the Conservatives decided to stop hot school meals.
One Tory councillor agreed he did not himself fully understand the reasoning.
