Michael Fisher (August 17) may seek to ridicule my efforts to keep up the environmental standards in Westbourne Ward but if the Labour council of our two towns did its job properly, I and my colleagues would not have to spend so much time dealing with such matters.
I suggest Mr Fisher would be better off spending his time using the Argus' Opinion page to propose constructive solutions to the myriad problems of Brighton and Hove, often wrought by his party, instead of slinging mud at those who defeated him in the council elections last year.
