In response to the article about me being fined for having too many children in my nursery (Argus, July 20), I would like to correct a few points.

Although 12 children were present they were in the care and control of their father, who was also present. The over-minding was for one and a half hours and five of the children were over five.

I have not yet received confirmation of a cut in numbers, only an intention, against which I am appealing.
