I understand the purpose of taking photographs of children arriving at The Drive Preparatory School as reported (Argus, July 7) was to provide evidence of traffic congestion as support for those opposed to the school relocating nearby.

I regularly drive to work via The Drive and pass the school as it is the quickest route at that time in the morning, despite not being a direct route to my business. I have never found any congestion outside the school, probably because it is so small and pupils appear to arrive either by foot, or parents considerately park away from the school before dropping and collecting their children.

It is in fact the least congested part of my journey. Because of the young age of the children, they appear to be immediately ushered into the school and it was some time before I even realised it even existed.
