We hear and see many critical articles about social services and the care of the elderly but I for one, at the age of 78, have nothing but praise for the Brighton and Hove Social Services Department.
Over a long period of time they have observed and helped my family with my very complicated schizophrenic sister and eventually placed her in a very good residential home where she is very happy and well looked after by a caring and understanding staff.
I am proud to stay in a country and borough with this level of support.
