LittleLuke Bettelley was the star of the day as he launched a £350,000 public appeal for a new children's clinic in Worthing.
Luke, two, from Durrington, teamed up with Southern FM presenter Danny Pike to raise funds for the new centre next to Worthing Hospital.
A year ago, Luke made medical history when his mother Jill became the first living relative to donate parts of her liver to him in a life-saving operation. Luke, who is treated at Worthing Hospital, helped Danny build a Lego model of the centre to encourage donations.
Building work on the £1.3 million joint project between Worthing Priority Care NHS Trust and Worthing and Southlands Hospitals Trust, will start in March. It will serve the needs of 55,000 children in the Worthing area.
