Eastbourne Eagles roar into action for the first time this season at Poole tonight when they take on their South Coast rivals in a challenge match.
The teams meet again at Arlington Stadium on Saturday ahead of Eastbourne's opening Elite League fixtures away to Kings Lynn next Wednesday and at home to Coventry on April 1.
Close-season £21,000 capture Joe Screen spearheads the Eastbourne challenge, and the team also includes new signings Paul Hurry and Petri Kokko.
The Pirates include former Eastbourne skipper Gary Havelock, plus Scott Nicholls and Mark Loram, and Craig Watson, who was linked with Eagles last year.

Eastbourne: Screen, Barker, Dugard, Norris, Hurry, Collyer, Kokko.
