Detectives from Bognor will be manning the phone lines tonight when Crimewatch viewers will be asked to help catch two armed robbers.
The BBC programme is showing a reconstruction of a February 3 raid on jewellers Nicholas and Company in the town's Queensway.
The men threatened two women assistants with a shotgun before escaping with a large amount of jewellery and cash. The first man to enter the shop was smartly dressed in a dark suit and the second wore casual clothes including a beige, hooded top.
The men parked their getaway car in a nearby car park and are believed to have been involved in a failed robbery at Claydon Jewellers, also in Bognor, a week later. They were foiled when sales assistant Sheena Tolley, 40, pushed a man who walked into the shop with a gun out of the door and locked it in his face.
