The visitors were behind as early as the second minute when Ashley Carr headed home after goalkeeper Tony Kessell had saved his initial effort.
Three minutes later Terry White equalised with a 30-yard free-kick and Danny Simmonds put them in front on 21 minutes with a good finish after running through the home defence.
Garry Harrison equalised for Raunds within a minute of the restart and Richard Bunting put them ahead on the hour.
Raunds had Warren Donald sent off for a second bookable offence before Shaun Loft equalised for Hastings with 20 minutes left. The visitors were then caught out by a long ball down field and Kevin Slinn scored.
l ST LEONARDS' home match against Wisbech was postponed.
