MICKY Adams relished Albion's big Boxing Day showdown and declared: "The pressure's all on Barnet."

John Still's side come to Withdean with a three point lead at the top of division three and some excellent away results to their name.

But Adams, whose Albion outfit have lost their last three in the League, insisted: "I haven't seen anything in the division that particularly frightens me.

"That might seem strange because of the position we're in.

"But I know if we go out and do what we're good at, and everybody concentrates for 90 minutes, we'll give anybody a game."

He added: "Barnet? So what? They're top of the League but they've got to realise that teams aren't going to roll over and die for them.

"The only way they can guarantee being top on Sunday night is by beating us so that adds a little bit of pressure."

It's an interesting point of view but the League table suggests that it's the Seagulls who have the greater need for points, not least in front of their increasingly dis-satisfied home fans.

Barnet boss John Still recognises that and said: "We're really looking forward to it.

"I've not been to Withdean and I've been told it's not great but, if I was a Brighton fan, I'd rather be going there than to Gillingham.

"Brighton and Darlington have probably got the best two squads in the division.

" I know Brighton have slipped a bit of late but they've got good players and it will be tough."
