Living on the eastern edge of the new parking scheme for Queen's Park, I was amazed at the sudden disappearence of cars.

Walking along Freshfield Way and Sutherland Road, I counted just 17 parked cars and about 100 spaces.

I live in a street just beyond the parking restricted areas but have not noticed any increase in cars. Where have they gone? Northern Kemp Town resembles a ghost town.

Has the Brighton and Hove Bus Company experienced a sudden up-turn in passengers? Is everyone walking to work?
