After last week's tantrum on the ski slopes at Klosters, when he said he hated the highly respected Nicholas Witchell, Prince Charles has lost a great deal of sympathy, respect and honour from the British public.

It is a testament to his unpopularity that the Princess of Sweden would rather travel to Japan to open an Ikea warehouse than hop over to Windsor for a royal wedding.
