Adam Trimingham goes to some lengths to criticise the revolt against Southern Water extending Portobello for sewage works in Telscombe Cliffs (The Argus, February 26).
He does not explain the reasons for the revolt - dozens of lorries every day on an already exhausted coast road.
He does admit the the opposition to the site was successful.
I am only thankful he is very generous in his readiness to have a recycling plant sewage works at Shoreham Harbour, "close to where I live". Take note, Southern Water.
