In response to Sara Brown's comment about the new Jubilee Library (Letters, March 9), I can only say my own experiences with the staff there have been excellent.

On the two occasions I have visited so far, I have been taken aback by their eagerness to help.

There have been teething problems with the computer system which could only have been heightened on Saturday by a lot of people visiting at the same time but they seem to be taking it all in their stride and doing the best they can.

When the public have calmed down a bit, I have no doubt we will all be able to enjoy a smooth-running and invaluable service.
