As an allotment gardener in Leeds, I'd like to add my support for the allotment holders and residents of Patcham Court Farm.
At a time when healthy eating and exercise figure so importantly on the national news agenda, it seems particularly short-sighted and insensitive to replace an allotment site with a park-and-ride scheme.
I hope this proposal for a glorified car park is turned down in favour of maintaining a health-giving community asset.
