I am a leaseholder from flats in Birch Grove, Brighton.
Behind the flats, there are dustbin sheds, each of which holds six bins.
We have been asked by Brighton and Hove City Council to take our rubbish out of the sheds and put it outside the flats on collection day to make it easy for the dustmen.
However, a few months ago, we were told in a letter from the same council not to put our rubbish outside because it's a health hazard and could be ripped open by seagulls and other animals.
The whole point of having a dustbin shed is so you can put your rubbish in it for the dustmen to collect. The system has been changed by this council.
What are we paying council tax for if we are doing the dustman's job?
