Your report on the interview with Frank Gehry tells us he promises a landmark building for the King Alfred site which will compare with Brighton's Royal Pavilion.
"Like nothing seen before" read your headline.
With that last thought, I suspect, most of us would agree.
I thank God we have not seen anything like it before and go on to pray we never shall.
But the arrogance implicit in making comparisons with the Pavilion is astounding.
If, heaven forbid, Mr Gehry's monster is ever built, I wonder how many people in 150 years time will trek to Hove from all over the world to see it as they do now for the Pavilion.
Not many I fancy, always supposing, of course, it is still standing.
Given that in his interview Mr Gehry is quoted as saying "the technology has to be reliable for more than a decade" perhaps even he is hedging his bets on how long it will actually stand up. Prospective buyers beware.
