Brighton Bears are set to agree terms to play at a state-of-the-art new seafront home.
The club have been offered a three-year deal to stage games at Brighton International Arena, which is due to open in September 2007.
Bears could play in an 11,000-seater hall at the planned development at Black Rock. Nick Nurse, head coach of the title-chasing Bears, said: "We've got a three-year offer on the table which is going to be agreed by the Bears. It's a case of working out details."
Bears skipper Yorick Williams is almost certainly out of his team's BBL Trophy final against Newcastle on March 6.
Williams has been told he broke a bone in his foot during the defeat by Chester. Bears host Milton Keynes Lions at the Triangle tonight (7pm).
