Worthing captain Jody Levett has been ruled out until September by the broken arm he suffered in last week's win at Sutton and Epsom.
Levett broke his right forearm making a tackle and will miss his team's London One title push.
The news is also a hammerblow to Sussex, who were counting on him for their County Championship season, probably as skipper.
Mike Imrie takes over as captain of Worthing, who have no game tomorrow.
They face second-placed Cambridge in a potential title decider next Saturday.
Levett said: "It's tremendously frustrating but at least I can focus on next season and hopefully playing National League rugby."
Meanwhile, Haywards Heath name an unchanged starting line-up for the first time this season as they go to Westcombe Park tomorrow.
Heath will be looking to repeat the form they showed in last week's 38-12 win over the same opponents which has thrown them a lifeline in the battle for National Three survival.
