Yemi Odudabe could be thrown straight into the Eastbourne Borough side at Basingstoke tomorrow as they try to end a four-game goal drought.

Odubade signed from Yeovil Town on Tuesday after the League Two leaders reluctantly agreed to release the unsettled striker.

The 20-year-old scored 33 goals for Eastbourne Town in the County League last season before moving to Yeovil and Borough boss Garry Wilson believes he can recapture that form.

Wilson said: "Yemi has bags of pace and an eye for goal so he will give us an extra dimension up front. Although we haven't been scoring recently we have been creating plenty of chances so, hopefully, he can help us get amongst the goals again.

"We haven't decided whether he will start yet because he has not had many games at Yeovil recently but he will definitely play some part."

Odubade's arrival means the end of an unhappy five months for Richard Brady who joined Tonbridge Angels yesterday after being released by Borough.

Brady scored six times in 23 games for Borough but his opportunities were limited since the arrival of Loui Fazakerley.

Borough will be without the injured Stuart Playford and Darren Baker, while Danny Chapman serves a one-game suspension, but Stuart Tuck has been passed fit to play.
