Bognot will be without Darren Budd for the visit of Hornchurch tomorrow.

The former Albion professional is having a trial with a club in America as the Rocks attempt to bounce back from last Saturday's 4-0 defeat against struggling St Albans.

That result left Bognor just seven points above the relegation zone and Pearce admits they must start picking up points again soon after winning just once in 13 league games.

Boss Jack Pearce said: "We need another three or four wins to be safe but I have every faith in the players that we will get them."

Matt Russell could be given a rare chance to impress after scoring for Worthing against Eastleigh on Tuesday night.

Pearce said: "Matt has not been playing much for us so we loaned him out for a game. I was pleased he scored and, hopefully, that will give him a lift."
