With reference to illegal cyclists on our pavements, considering quite a hefty fine awaits them, I am astonished they still choose to ride there, causing stress and harassment to many but especially small children and their young mothers, the partially-sighted and the elderly.

We all know the police are busy elsewhere so why can't traffic wardens, who are numerous, be assigned to fine the traffic of cycles on our rights of way? The summer months ahead are to be dreaded as cyclists appear everywhere.
