How sad it is to see the preparation now taking place to demolish the Larchwood Resource Centre in Waldron Avenue, Coldean.
Through the years, it has proved an invaluable asset as both a day centre and for short term in-patient care, not to mention other help which was available there.
Alas, today so many wonderful older buildings with great charm are being sacrificed for a new project, as is the case here, but Coldean will never be the same once it has gone.
