How exciting to read of Sussex Police's purchase of a fleet of fast cars (The Argus, January 12).
Surely it's bad enough to have boy racers knocking people over?
Now we can be guaranteed more innocent victims of high-speed police pursuits with criminals trying to outrun the latest police racing cars paid for by the ever-increasing precept on our council taxes.
