Hundreds of bingo players enjoyed a night at the greyhound races in aid of The Argus Appeal.
Gala Bingo had given away tickets for the charity night at the Coral Brighton and Hove Greyhound Stadium to winners from its branches across Sussex.
Punters contributed to the appeal though a raffle.
Gala has been raising money through coffee mornings, fun runs and free bingo games.
The company presented appeal coordinator Elsa Gillio with a cheque for £4,000.
Gala's charity coordinator, Sue Toft said: "We try to give something back to the community and have decided to support The Argus Appeal."
