I was sorry to read Councillor Gill Mitchell stating that 15,000 wallflowers had been planted in the Old Steine (Letters, November 10).
Bedding-plant gardening is the most expensive and least sustainable form of gardening that exists, so what has happened to Brighton and Hove City Council's sustainability policy?
