Windsurfer Lucy Robson has been given a flying start after her bosses, insurance company FairClaims, agreed to be her official sponsors.
The trainee solicitor, who practises her surfing off Shoreham beach five nights a week, is preparing to compete in ten events over the next few months.
FairClaims, based in Queen's Road, Brighton, has bought her three sails, allowing her to surf in various wind conditions.
Lucy, 23, said: "It will be brilliant to compete in my first competition with three new sails.
"I have never competed before and it is wonderful to get so much support. I am really grateful to FairClaims for giving me a helping hand."
