As a proud new great-grandmother, I am also an active and dedicated tetra campaigner.
How can I not be, when my family are affected by mm02 Airwave tetra masts and I see other families around me who could also be affected?
How can I, as a fellow human being, duck the responsibility of care and concern for other people when I know so much? I just can't.
On hearing the news that Dorset and Hampshire police officers have approached the Police Federation about their concerns for health over tetra handsets and technology, my thoughts turned to Sussex police officers and their families, who are scheduled to start using the handsets sometime next spring.
Dorset and Hampshire police officers are only voicing the concerns of other officers across the UK. They are the fortunate ones in that the Police Federation officials are prepared to listen to them and act on their behalf.
Officers in Lancashire and other areas have not had that support and
I am worried, after witnessing some police management responses to tetra, that Sussex police officers might not be able to voice their concerns.
There are several web sites with information about tetra to help
people make up their own minds.
I am available to answer all tetra queries and also microwave transmission queries (phone masts etc).
