One of the good things about The Argus is that it emphasises the
positive. Here is another kindly act, which could so easily go unremarked.
Yesterday I took my disabled son to the end of the Palace Pier but
when we arrived, the rides were just closing down. My son was upset because it was difficult to explain why the lights were going out before he had had a go on anything.
Seeing this, the manager re-opened the bumper cars and my son enjoyed a fantastic ride, with staff members driving the other cars.
Thanks to a bit of human kindness, a good time was had by all.
