I was shocked by the lack of appreciation for what goes on inside buildings such as The Phoenix and New England House ("Which eyesore would you demolish?", The Argus, October 20).
Both these Brighton buildings play important parts in the lives of local residents by providing affordable studio spaces for artists and new businesses.
You talk about demolishing these buildings as though they're nothing but empty shells.
What exactly would happen to all the people who use them if they were to be pulled down for the sake of a few minutes of mindless "reality" TV?
