Lewes were knocked out in the preliminary round after going down 2-1 at Basingstoke Town.
For the home side it was revenge for the 4-1 defeat in last season's Ryman play-offs which helped the Rooks win promotion to the Conference south.
Martin Whiddett headed Basingstoke in front midway through the first half only for Lewes to hit back seven minutes before the break through Dwain Clarke.
Cristian Levis won the game for Basingstoke minutes later with a strike from a tight angle.
