Kevin Keehan scored from almost the halfway line as Whitehawk won 4-1 at champions Chichester in division one.

Keehan, on loan from League One side Bradford City, capped an outstanding display with the opener in a convincing win.

Ashley Carr scored from the penalty spot and had a hand in the other two, scored by Craig Bunch and Tommy Pattenden. Paul Thomas replied with a penalty.

Manager Ian Chapman said: "Kevin picked it up just inside the Chichester half and struck it superbly."

Leaders Horsham YMCA had to settle for a 1-1 draw at Southwick after Phil Churchill's opener was cancelled out by John Donaghue's late strike.

Eastbourne United Association manager Dave Shearing hailed striker Scott McDonald after his brace sunk second placed Littlehampton 2-0.

Shearing said: "They were both quality goals and he now has 11 for the season. People said he couldn't do it at this level but he has already proved he can."

Struggling Three Bridges had player-coach Darren Freeman sent off for a second yellow card in the first half as they crashed 4-0 at home to Worthing United.

Goals came from Lee Bone (two), Dave Schneider and Neil Shelley.

Worthing manager Ian Browne said: "We dominated possession, were quicker to the ball and showed more desire."

Sidley's revival continued with a 3-1 win at Arundel thanks to Chas Lister, a Ben White penalty and Lewis Hole with a 25-yard screamer.

Ade Olorunda twice put Rye and Iden ahead but they were held to a 2-2 draw by lowly Redhill, for whom Justin Jones and Steve Jenns netted.

Rye had to play striker Micky O'Callaghan in goal for the second half after regular keeper Jon Gardiner went off with a shoulder injury.
