This is the view Zoe Ball and her husband Norman Cook wake up to each morning when staying at their luxury home on Hove seafront.

The exclusive photograph was taken by Zoe herself to help raise funds towards a way of finding a cure for breast cancer.

Zoe, a disc jockey and TV and radio personality, was one of the celebrities approached by Breakthrough Breast Cancer to send in their favourite waking moment.

For Zoe and Norman it is the sound of the sea on a calm sunny morning as they wake up in their white villa in Western Esplanade, which has a private beach.

Zoe is an expert photographer and has been learning film techniques at the Brighton Film School.

Zoe, Carol Smillie and Lorraine Kelly were just three of the many celebrities who have teamed up with Typhoo to take photographs capturing their "waking moment".

Zoe just stepped on to the wooden balcony and took the view of the English Channel.

It is signed the Sound of the Sea in black with two kisses from Zoe and Norman.

The celebrities were asked to capture on film "How do you get going in the morning?".

Pictures sent in included an early morning walk with the dog, waking up the nation on breakfast radio and enjoying a refreshing first cup of tea of the day.

They captured how Britain starts the day.

The photographs will be sold on QXL.com throughout this month, with all proceeds going to Breakthrough.
