An employment agency has been launched in Brighton and Hove to give nightclub managers emergency bar staff cover.
Figures show the unexpected loss of one member of staff can cost a club about £600 between the hours of 10pm and 2am.
JustBarStaff, based in Brunswick Place, Hove, has been established with the aim of providing staff at a moment's notice.
The company was set up by former theatre consultant and ex-licensee Anthony Loveless and former nightclub manager Debbie Stavrou.
It will also supply bars, and restaurants with experienced staff on a temporary or permanent basis.
The company, which has its own web site, already has a number of experienced bar staff on its books.
