The mystery of what happened to the swan cygnets on Brooklands Lake has been solved.
It appears the algae that happened during the hot weather of last year returned during the recent hot spell and killed the majority, if not all, of the wildlife on the lake.
If this is true then Worthing Council should be ashamed of itself for not taking seriously its responsibilities for looking after our wildlife.
