I am saddened to read the collapse of the concert hall in the storm force winds last Wednesday has now put in doubt the future restoration of the West Pier (The Argus, June 25).
Experts had said the structure was as sound as ever and future restoration plans should not be affected.
There now seems to be some doubt about this.
Well wishers will want to see all that can be done is done to restore our once-famous for the right reasons West Pier.
