Albion have launched a money-spinning lottery game with a unique twist.

Instead of playing with numbers, your chances of winning will be in the hands of Albion greats such as Bobby Zamora and Peter Ward.

Heroes and Winners is a game where supporters have to choose two players as their weekly ticket to the prize draw.

If your unique pairing is pulled out of the hat, you can win a variety of prizes ranging from cash sums to special 'insider packages' prizes which money cannot buy such as travelling on the team bus or maybe lunch with the chairman For a £2 stake you will be helping the club raise much-needed funds - not to mention having fun picking your pairing.

You can choose whichever two players you like, be it past, present, the best, the worst. However, your pairing must be unique and, as they will be allocated on a first come, first served basis you might want to think beyond the obvious pairings of Zamora and Ward or Nelson and Knight, which are bound to be snapped up straight away.

Here are some combinations to consider.

BOBBY ZAMORA AND ROY JENNINGS: A mixture of youth and experience. Zamora scored 83 goals in 136 appearances for the Seagulls, helping them to two championships. Jennings was the lynchpin of Albion's defence during the late Fifties and early Sixties, making almost 300 appearances for the club.

PETER O'SULLIVAN AND DANNY CULLIP: A combination of committed men. Sully played nearly 500 games for Albion, initially as a winger and then as an influential midfielder. Current skipper Cullip has helped the Seagulls to promotion in three of the last four seasons.

KURT NOGAN AND BRIAN HORTON: The Luton Town connection. Nogan joined Albion on a free transfer from Luton and went on to score 60 goals in 120 appearances. 'Nobby' Horton played for the Hatters after captaining the Seagulls during their meteoric rise to the First Division in the late Seventies.

DAVE CAMERON AND MARK FARRINGTON: The unlikely strike force. Scottish striker Cameron was famously dubbed "useless" by Albion assistant-manager Alan Cork after one particularly unimpressive performance. Farrington failed to win over the Goldstone faithful after being signed by Barry Lloyd for £60,000 in 1991.

The choice is entirely yours and with 1,000 players to chose from, you should be able to come up with a pairing unique to you. For more information on Heroes and Winners, contact Albion's commercial team on 01273 695400.
